Chef Austin Simmons named 2018 Truffle Master

Hubbell & Hudson won the top spot in The 2018 Truffle Masters on Jan. 29, an annual competition held in Houston.

In 2017, Chef Austin Simmons took home the People’s Choice award with his Oyster & Truffle Potage. This year, the Hubbell & Hudson team competed with a French Grilled Cheese sandwich: shaved truffle, house cultured cream, comté, aged gruyère and clarified butter on a toasted brioche – and brought home the big Truffle Master title.
