The Woodlands, Texas — October 4, 2012 — Black Forest Ventures today broke ground on its new fixed based operation (FBO) facility located at Lone Star Executive Airport.
Black Forest Ventures’ new Galaxy FBO will be located on the southeast side of the Lone Star Executive Airport, conveniently located at the end of the runway 14-32. This new state-of-the-art FBO will feature a 25,000 sq.ft. facility with world-class amenities including an arrival/departure canopy large enough to accommodate regional and largest corporate jets. In addition, more than 80,000 sq.ft. of hangar space will provide room for aircraft storage, maintenance and repair. Galaxy FBO’s amenities will include concierge services, passenger lounges, meeting rooms, flight planning rooms with WSI pilot weather services and a restaurant with a view of the runway. The new Galaxy FBO is expected to be completed and be in operation in Fall 2013.

The new facility will allow us to efficiently grow our business, as we improve service levels to meet customer expectations.”
The Lone Star Executive Airport is located in Conroe, Texas in the heart of Montgomery County. Owned and operated by the county, the Lone Star Executive Airport is a reliever, general aviation airport located approximately 25 miles north of Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport and within minutes of The Woodlands.
