The newly rebranded and renovated Black Walnut Kitchen and Bar is now open in Rice Village.
Black Walnut is a fresh-faced neighborhood restaurant serving elevated classics from coffee to cocktails alongside breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and happy hour. With an easy charm and all-day menu, Black Walnut has emerged as a natural gathering space for neighbors at its nine locations throughout Houston and Dallas.

The updated breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and weekday happy hour menus feature Chef Austin Simmons’ exclusive dishes and desserts.
The short construction project was spearheaded by the Perrin Projects and Moon Commercial Construction.
Black Walnut Kitchen & Bar is located at 5510 Morningside Dr., Suite #150 in Houston. It opens daily at 7 a.m. for breakfast. Lunch and dinner are served until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Weekend brunch is from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and happy hour is 3-6:30 p.m. on weekdays.
