Dr. Bin Lu and Mark Dipsey presented Finwave’s 3DGaN™ FinFET Technology to the Department of Energy Secretary Granholm at the 2022 ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit.
The Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) selected Finwave (Formerly known as Cambridge Electronics) as one of 9 ARPA-E SCALEUP projects in January 2021. SCALEUP – Seeding Critical Advances for Leading Energy technologies with Untapped Potential – is a first-of-its-kind initiative, supporting the scaling of high-risk and potentially disruptive new technologies across the full spectrum of energy applications.
The Finwave’s revolutionary 3DGaN™ FinFET Technology was presented at the ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit in late May. The Summit is an annual conference and technology showcase that brings together over two thousand experts from different technical disciplines and professional communities to think about America’s energy challenges in new and innovative ways.
